Accreditation

  

PSETA stopped accepting new accreditation applications in 2022 for pre-2009 qualifications as these expired on 31 June 2023. The information below applies to currently accredited SDPs only.

The South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA) has approved the extension of learner enrolment dates for the following pre-2009 qualifications:

SDPs wishing to offer these qualifications must extend their accreditation by submitting their extension applications to accreditation@pseta.org.za. The submission must include the following required documents: (Refer to the QCTO Accreditation Section)

      • Completed and signed PSETA Accreditation Extension Form
      • Signed PSETA Code of Conduct
      • A valid SARS Clearance Certificate/Tax Compliance Pin document
      • Company registration document 
      • Accreditation letter (both PSETA and Primary SETA, where applicable)
      • Current signed Service Level Agreements (SLAs)/ Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with ETD Practitioners
      • PSETA valid registration letters of the ETD Practitioners (link to Assessor/Moderator application in the portal

 

SDPs are encouraged to apply for accreditation against registered occupational qualifications through the QCTO (www.qcto.org.za)
