Dr Khuliso Kennedy Maimela is a distinguished academic, corporate leader and governance specialist with more than 25 years of experience across higher education and the corporate sector. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Vari Holdings (Pty) Ltd and has lectured and trained at institutions including the Wits School of Governance, Wits Business School, the University of Venda, the University of Johannesburg, the University of Limpopo and Georgia Southern University in the United States. Dr Maimela has held several influential board and council positions and is a former President of the South African Association of Public Administration and Management (SAAPAM). He holds a Doctorate in Administration and Leadership from the University of Venda and a Master’s in Public and International Affairs from the University of Pittsburgh. His extensive expertise in strategy, corporate governance, ethical leadership, organisational development and capacity building provides strong strategic stewardship to PSETA in his role as Chairperson of the Accounting Authority.
